The required travel time from Athens or Lamia to Pertouli has been reduced, thanks to the E-65 motorway.
This summer of 2018, we had the great pleasure of welcoming the completion of the first new section (one of three) of the motorway, E-65, a section of 80 km. The new motorway, besides shortening the journey, also offers safer travel conditions and high-standard customer services.
More specifically, according to the announcement of the concession company, Kentriki Odos, the journey time is reduced by about 30 minutes, and drivers now be spared the dangerous turns of the old provincial road network. The new section can be reached near the village, Xyniada, at a roundabout, and from there, drivers may continue on the new section to Trikala. Upon completion of construction, the average travel time will be reduced by more than one hour.
